Harrisburg Area Museum / Heritage Park

In November 1993, Wilton Smucker and approximately 40 volunteers moved an 1867 home onto its present site in Harrisburg, Oregon, and the Harrisburg Area Museum, also known as Heritage Park, was born. The Museum is run by local volunteers and all artifacts have been donated by the local community.

In 2007, the Museum received the Oregon Heritage Excellence Award. This well-deserved award is to recognizes individuals, businesses and organizations for outstanding efforts on behalf of Oregon Heritage. Thank you to our volunteers, donors, and supporters for all of your efforts.
